U.S.A's associate degree is equivalent to Asian which degree?

An associate degree from a US university is often seen only as completing 2 years of university (the world over). The best thing is to check the embassy of the country you want to work in for what they would translate your qualifications into. I know if you are trying to teach English in South Korea, that the requirement is a full 4 year Batchelors degree.....but may be different for other countries.
