The current Iran/Israel inflamations are an absolute defect of the 'bushco' regime. This current situation demands that 'Bush ' steps away in every way, shape and form-anything less is an invitation to Armegedon. As a US citizen,I demand that leadership be supplied to Congress,Minus Nancy Polosi and her subverting co-horts!

  1. I will support whatever the country needs to do about Iran to remove them as a primary threat to security in the region and to the US economy.  Someone really needs to put them in their place and by place I mean it's a long way down there.  I'll pitch in $1000 for the first missile at Tehran.

  2. Iran is not an aggressive state and has not been for 200 years.

Israel are driving this issue by frighteneing themselves over the possibility that Iran does what they did  -  develop nuclear weapons secretly.

Israel know they are mistreating the Palestinians, and fear a revenge attack from an Arab state.

The fact is that these countries are bucnched up together, If Iran used a nuclear weapon against Israel, it would affect all of the Palestinians  -  and radioactive drift would affect Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey possibly and Iraq probably. Their own allies. It would make no sense for any Arab state to use a nuclear weapon in the region. The chances of wind bringing fallout back to your own country are quite high. It's like Illinois targetting Virginia. You're going to involve a lot of other people.

Iran has UN weapons inspectors crawling over their country. They haven't found any evidence of nuclear weapons in progress. The CIA said the same earlier this year. Iran is quite happy to have more inspectors visit - they are being very open -  they will allow any checks. It's on the public record - and at the UN.

USA just needs to get Israel to calm down a little. Israel is very nervous. They feel surrounded - as they are. But it would be better if they all tried to co-operate with each other more. They all share that region together.

  3. Yeah because Congress is doing such a great job now...they have a lower approval rating than Bush.

  4. If you want to ask the question rather than preach to me.....would I support a war with Iran - YES!

Iran's escalations will not go away.  After they get 1200 mile range on their missiles they will seek 2000 mile range....then intercontinental missiles.  They will always claim it is as a deterent.

A large percentage of Iranian people want democracy and are very Western.  That may be 40% or 50%, I don't know exactly what it is and no one can know.  If liberation and bringing democracy is possible in any middle eastern country - It's Iran.

  5. IF war with Iran is necessary for our allies' safety and our own interests, then yes. We cannot ignore the fact that Iran is probably our biggest enemy right now.

  6. Richard SM - Your answer is EXCELLENT and absolutly spot on. You took the words right out of my mouth.

  7. Iran talks big let us watch and see how fast they can run

  8. You really, really need to cut down on the caffeine and pay closer attention to the situation.

There is not going to be a war.  What we are seeing right now is the same ole media war scares that get dusted off by the news media every time they run out of real news.

Do you _really_ think that we would be reducing the number of troops in Iraq if we considered a war with Iran to be a serious possibility?
