U.S Citizen moving to europe?

Question

I want to move to europe, and get a job, I want to live there permanently. How hard is it for an american to get permanent residency in europe, will I get accepted immediately because the U.s is a better country then all european countries?

USA is the worst place to live in:
High unemployment
scams of all sorts from creditors to banks
no job stability
no housing stability
education is screwed up
health care is anything but medical
water sucks
beaches are polluted and fish is highly toxic
what else do you want me to say......... it just sucks to live in the usa now
