U.S. Embassy Visa Appointment in Jamaica headache!%#&^*$?

I have been trying to get a non-immigrant visa appointment for the U.S. embassy in Kingston, Jamaica from at least April without any success at all. Evertime you go online the dates up until July '08 are full and you don't see any information at all for the rest of the year to select from that. I have tried e-mailing the consular section of the embassy at the address listed at the website about this problem with no direct answer to my query at all. If you try to call the number listed on the website, a recording then directs you to the website for all the answers you will ever need!! I have tried the online appointment system on all days of the week at all hours of the day & night without any satisfaction. Please direct me as to how to get over this appointment hurdle!

I wish I could answer you as I am also in the same situation. My husband is Ja we had no clue about this NEW email for an interview date thing.

We relocated to Mexico so that we could finally live together, he flew clear to Kingston from Tijuana to get up at 3am and wait in line all day for the "Security officer" to tell him he needs to email for an interview date!!!!! I have sent them an email and have had no reply?? Not even sure if I am emailing the right info, or request or how they want it worded. We are now seperated as I am still in Mx (by border of San Diego he is in Ja! We have no idea what the dealio is! I am a resource guru so I will be on this like madlock! Please send me your personal info so we can keep intouch and maybe help each other if you know something tell me, and if I know something I will tell you. I know the embassy told my husband that they would give him a date after they receive our email in a matter of a few days or weeks. We are so frustrated with this! We have waited for so long to not even have anyone to communicate with or even an email reply to let us know they received our request! I am feeling your pain! I'm actually in the same problem...i now live in the cayman islands and have been trying 2 book an appointment online but the dates are booked up until July 08 and no dates after that....i have emailed them asking them when dates will be available...i was told soon but that's been way over 1 month now.

yea i have the same problem. they jus open three new dates for august tho and already them book out

visit there Embassy and report this message, likely themselves are not aware of the problem, sometime the particualr website may have problem unknowingly they still allow it to be

where are you asking a visa from, which consulate? answer that please*. which citizenship do you have? *

apparentely, they are booked, i went until august, nothing open,

vacation time is here, it is very hard to get an appointement,
