U.S. Government Hiding Something?

Question

I was just wondering why it is that some people think that the government is hiding aliens from us. And why they think that the Moon Landing was a hoax. Is there any proof otherwise?

Humans are typically self-serving (hungry for power and money) and deceptive.

Government is composed ENTIRELY of humans.

It doesn't take a G.E.D and slide rule to figure it out from there.

the people that think that believe that there are definitely aliens out there and qualify certain unexplained phenomena as proof. And when you add up all the UFO sightings and crop circles and people claiming to have been abducted then they presume the government must be in on it. I mean for something that massive to be going on without the covernments knowledge is unthinkable right? (or so they think)

And the thing with the moon landing is if he Armstrong was taking his first step on the moon how come the camera was recording from an angle that was on the moons surface? who pressed record and held the camera?

Governments hide things from people so as not to rile the masses up. I can understand that to a degree.

On the other hand, sightings of crafts both in the air and water have been reported and documented by military and regular pilots. Not to mention thousands of people. Would the government hide this, of course. Should they?  Not anymore.  Our world has changed, technology has advanced and people should be ready to hear the truth.

The moon landing being a hoax has been around for years, they say how did they take the pictures.  They do attach camera's to the modules.

If you bombard the people enough with jokes and add your own hoaxes to it all, the people will start to believe what the majority believes.  

The best way to know and learn anything is by investigating it yourself. Then take your own stand, outside and away from the ignorance of the people who sit around repeating what others say without any knowledge of the subject at all.

You'll find all kinds of kooks out there that will more readily believe in the existance of Big Foot than the actual landing on the moon.  That's why so many people fall hook line and sinker for the whole "Global Warming" myth.  Its nothing more than a money grab to transfer wealth from countries who have to those who have not.  But I digress.  There have been occassion where a Federal govt will not come right out and say, "Hey!  Look what were up to!"  Sometimes its been shady and other times its been for the sake of National Security.

Because they lacked a real education. Critical thinking is not taught in public schools or in college anymore. Do as your told. Don't thinks for yourself. Agree with me or pay the price. That being said, I do believe the govermnent is hiding aliens. I estimate there are 20 million aliens  living in the U.S. picking fruit, cleaning our bathrooms, and mowing our lawns. They allow this because we are too lazy to do this type of work for below minimum wage.

i think every government has many things to hide, but aliens are not one of them. people just like to believe conspiracies because it is more fun than accepting the truth.

I think that it has to do with the fact that the government HAS indeed kept things secret from us in the past relavent things like what they are really testing when this or that happens. I won't go into all of that though, but it has a lot to do with that and people just want to feel they are a part of something bigger than themselves, and I think people a jaded and suspicious from some of the things that were hidden that seemed made up that turned out to be true...and like Pickles said (some) fall into catergories 1-3.

Well to be honest I don't know about aliens, I have seen many pictures that were from the landing, and look fake with shadows out of line and things out of place etc, and there have been a lot of reported sightings of UFO's, some year back I joined a UFO club to see what it was all about, but it was only talks about sightings and aledged abductions and seling books etc, so I didn't learn much.  But there have been some strang stories about OFO's, I do know Hitlers Germany were well advanced in virtical take off and flying discs, so who knows?.
