I need to know 3 things that are important to have a positive foreign policy.

A positive foreign policy has been different under different presidents. Some preferred to keep America out of foreign wars. Another wanted America to "Walk softly but carry a big stick." Some wanted to make the world a more peaceful place. Others wanted to stop the Communists or make America the strongest country in the world.
