U.S Olympic Sailing Team produces string results on Day 3 of 2012 London Olympic Games
Spectators preset in London are having a tremendous time watching their favourite sailors performing up to the mark in the 2012 London Olympic Games. So far, there have been tremendous races in different classes of sailing where top sailors gained the leading
podium places in Women Match Racing, Laser, Laser Radial, Star, Finn, 49er, RS:X Men and Women classes.
The US Olympic Sailing Team was quite determined before they entered their respective classes for sailing competitions. The team participated in the above mentioned classes in order to gain an early lead of the respective domains.
The opening day of the Olympic competitions was not according to the standards and finished on lower podiums. However, the second day of the games brought some good results comparatively. The third day of the Olympics was a strong result producer for the
US Olympic Sailing Team as they clinched higher finishes at the end of third day proceedings.
Former Women Match Racing champion Anna Tunnicliffe has grabbed four wins and two losses in her Olympic campaign so far and is hoping for a positive outcome in the end.
All eyes are on former champion Zach Railey as he sails in Finn class for the US Olympic Sailing Team. He finished on second and eight podium place on the third day. Currently he is on 13th podium place in the overall standings of the Finn class.
The 49er team of Erik Storck and Trevor Moore was the only team that clinched a bullet on the third day proceedings of 2012 Olympics. They are hopeful for claiming some higher podium finishes so that they can finish in the leading places.
