U.S. Open (tennis)?

I want to go see the u.s. open. But how do i buy my tickets? I dont live in New York but i want to see one of the williams sister's play. How do i know what ticket to buy?

There is little you can do in advance if you want to see the Williams sisters play at this year's US Open.

They will be playing their first round singles matches on at least one of the first three days of the tournament. It could be a day session or a night session.

Schedules for the day's play are usually not posted until the day before play so you won't know where (which court), and when (what time, day or night) they'll be playing.

You could buy tickets now to Arthur Ashe stadium for the first three day sessions and have a pretty good chance of seeing at least one of them play, unless of course they both play their first round matches during the night session.

There's no sense in buying tickets until you know when they are actually playing.

you will have to wait untill the draws are posted which is usually only about a couple weeks before the tourny starts in wich case most tickets wil be sold out, you best bet is to purchase an all day ground pass for the early rounds where you will get general seating and acces to all the days events. i would recomend the first three-4 days of the tourny which will cover all the of the first round matchesi would recomend either the open preimere plan (300) wich is acces to the first 5 sessions (3day/2night) or the premiere week package wihch is the first 9 sessions (5day/4night) which will also get you some acces to the 2ndand 3rd round matches (360)

it's hard to do that because you cant predict whether they will win or not. however if u buy ground tickets in the early rounds and then upgrade them if u know what day theyre playing (find out in the morning), then you can see them
