Case in point....about 30 min ago the French were "sure winners" in the swimming relay and even talked trash saying you were going to crush us. Look what happened.

  1. My favorite all-time race was the 1984 LA Olympics 4 x 200 Free Relay when the USA's Bruce Hayes held off Germany's Michael Gross (The Albatross) to win the Gold.

After this evening it's now the 2008 Beijing Olympics 4 x 100 Free Relay with Jason Lezak mowing down France's Alain Bernard (former WR holder) with the fastest relay split of all time (46.06 - yes you are reading that right).

Did you hear the commentators talking about the race for second with 50 meters left?

That was simply the single most come from behind sports event I've ever witnessed.

    Great question.

  2. I think the Americans held their heads high and showed what we are all about.  They showed dignity and grace by not responding verbally to all the attacks before and showed who was the victor on the field.  They swam hard and swam well.  They did not give in when getting behind either.  America was founded on a lot of hard work.  I am so glad to see some young men working hard for what they got.  Also, it was very gracious for them to politely congratulate the French who shortly before were rubbing the race in their faces and saying they were going to crush them.  Way to stand proud guys and make us proud to be Americans!

  3. There is a reason I love French TOAST.  One of the most exciting relay I've ever seen.  I thought we were gonna lose until the last few meters.  Lets have some syrup with that Frech TOAST...haha.  Go USA!! :)

  4. VIVA la America! I wonder how they feel ....??? I think they should go on vacation and come visit the BEATIFUL AMERICA! we don't think we are better then anybody we know we are good at some events not all of them and we don't go talking about crushing anyone's @ss

  5. Someone in France is not teaching their youth their own history.  The USA saved their sorry asses from the n***s.  The n***s invaded France and crushed them in no time.  The US led allies invaded and pushed them out.  We then allowed, yes, ALLOWED, French soldiers to lead the march into Paris.  Instead of taking all the glory, we let them greet their own cheering crowds of people first, on the way back into Paris.  So those snot-nosed phuks got the *****-slap they deserved. USA lays the SMACK-DOWN on the bee-atches!!
