able to make a clean sweep over their opponents at the following final set scores: 25-13, 27-25 and 25-4.
Initially, in the opening set the Brazilians tired to gain some head way but the Americans soon squashed any hopes that the Brazilian team may have had by taking the lead and soon extending the margin. Once the Americans got started in their blitzkrieg attack
it did not take them long to secure a win. The loss of the first set sent a wakeup call to the Brazilians and they stepped up their game in the second set that made the frame thrilling and competitive. Both the teams were locked together in a battle to end
the set on their terms but the Americans ended up grabbing the win. Losing the first two sets had a negative effect on the Brazilians as their performance experienced a dramatic fall which enabled the Americans to make a quick win out of the third set and
claim victory with a huge margin.

back with some quicker plays in the second set and pushed us. The girls decided they wanted to finish this day off on the right note and completed the match in the third set, 15-4. The scores at the technical timeouts were 8-0 and 16-2.”
