I am planning to get my U.S passport. I told the people at the embassy that i don't have photo id and they said i have to bring sum 1 i've known for atleast two years to vouch for me. they said something about me filling out some affidavit . I would like to know what documents my dad should bring when doing the oath?

  1. Your father must bring his own identification documents to establish his identity, in order for him to help establish your identity.  In addition, he should bring your school and health records, family/school pictures, and his tax returns (if you were listed as a dependent).


  2. Bring your birth certificates, family pictures, affidavits of witnesses vouching for your character and other identifying documents.
