i can see the images on the computer but i cannot hear when i import a video from my photo camera there is no sound on my computer why^

i dont understand because normally it works

i checked the volume its on max

  1. Since you did not give any information as to the make & model of your PC & camera. My advice is to check with the manufacturer support site for your camera & check the FAQ's section to see if anyone else is having this problem. If not you can contact customer service.

    What 's changed - e.g. have you installed any new apps on your PC, have you changed anything on the camera?

    Do you still have the audio when you play old clips you recorded?

  3. Ooohh, that's a toughy.

    I assume you installed the camera on the computer properly. My only guess is for some unexplainable reason the audio is coming in on a different format your computer isn't looking at properly.

  4. Just assumed ur on XP & you're using Windows media player (wmp).

    Seems that the format of the video from digicam (model ?) is not supported by wmp or it just lacks the correct codecs.

    - let wmplayer download automatically the needed codecs- adjust setting=> click Tools/ options/ player->put a check on auto-download

    - If still w/o audio, try VLC player

    - worst comes to worst, convert your video to avi or wmv, try super or prism
