this isn't really a question. But, one thing to note about the Ubuntu 8.04, including the K, GNOME and Xfce environments, Windows install, is that, IF you do unistall it, it will leave your hard drive severely fragmented. I know, trust me, I've done it. If you wat to use Ubuntu, whether K, GNOME or Xfce, you should use the LiveCD to try it, and then install it on a new partition, then fix the Windows Bootloader.
