U.s Marines i need help joing but their is a hold back

i have a very big problem im am trying to be a us marine the only thing holding me back is 2 theft felony's as a juvinile like 10 years ago i talked to the people who were on my case said they are just mistameanors i took my reqruiter the papers to proof saying this

he said they look at everything as felony's that its going to be hard to get me and the service he going to do all he can but he never calls me and tell me what going on is their anything that i can do

  1. you can send a letter too your congressman and try too get your record expunged


  2. If you want to get in, you have to start kissing ***. Start doing community service, and stuff like that. Become involved in the community. And join one of the programs to help troubled children.It make the Marine Recruiters realize you've changed.  

  3. The reason he will not call you back is because he cant enlist you with those convictions and it cant be waived.

    Try the Army because they are less lienant.

  4. Only a very limited amount of felonies are waived..If you do not impress with your ASVAB score then they most likely wont bother with you..

    Not everyone can be a Marine and now you see why. The USMC is not desperate for people..They are very picky..All I can tell you is to keep asking your recruiter..

    Obviously lavadog has never visited a recruiting station.

    Talk to the army if the marine corps says no.

    BEST THING TO DO IS TO KEEP CALLING. make them know you care.

    They are only allowed a certain percentage of recruits to have waivers for doing illegal things.

    Also try and get your cases expunged. makes it look better.
