U s bank called me to apply for a visa college rewards credit card?

Do you guys know if that is legit or not? I gave them all my information and what not. Has this happened to anybody?

  1. It can be legitimate as an offer but if you're in Canada or somewhere else you just may not be eligible as the credit bureau and residency agreements are different.

    I'd just ignore it and stick to your own neighbourhood.

Just keep in mind that you shouldn't give any information on the phone unless you know for sure it is your bank or someone trustworthy. If you want a college student card, you should look at your options before applying for one that came your way. See student section in the site below and look through all the ones you can get. It's better to apply online and receive a decision instantly.

  4. i would only apply for a credit card on a secure website anyone could be asking for your personal info, so they can steal your identity
