  1. Yes you can, it has your name on it. The reason it has your mothers name on it is due to that she is your legal guardian. BUt there is nothing illegal about you opening it..

  2. Yes. But it's addressed to her, so if you cause the mail to not be delivered to the named recipient it's mail fraud - which is illegal.

If you're just curious, go for it, have a look. It's your grades after all.

If you plan to hide the evidence if you have bad grades, just ask yourself - how stupid do I really think my parents are?

  3. haha guess you failed first semester hey. mom'll be pissed. since its addressed to her, and you are only in the "regarding" line, you can't legally open it. you can, however, steam it open with an iron, scan it onto a word document, change your grades to A's, and reseal the envelope. lay off the beer bong this september dude.

  4. No, you cannot open it.  Your name isn't there as an addressee.  The "Re" means, essentially "about" you.  So, it's legally not addressed to you and you therefore do not have a right to open the report card.

  5. no-never do that.

  6. yes

  7. Well, it is her mail and she should open it. Re means it is about you. You could open it, but it would not be right. It  would not be fun explaining why or how is got opened. Can you check your grades online?

    We can here

  8. Its addressed to your mom its her mail not yours.  Do you want your mom opening your mail from one of your girl friends??  It would be about the same thing
