U think big brother would be more interesting if they removed the eye candy and just had smart people?

we all know the dumb jocks and blonde bimbos dont really add any substance to the show other than the occasional laugh.

I know.  Over at Survivor, we've been lobbying against this, and a return to your average next-door neighbour type for 2 seasons.

I hear you. I watch both shows.  IMO They can do the same thing on BB.  You can have all the drama and entertainment without the fluff. :)

i think a big brother with people all in some way connected to each other like a six degrees of separation type thing would be good. particularly if it was focused on their romantic lives. like this guy went out with this girl but she went with the other guy and so on.......imagine the catfights?!

Hey there...

No, you really have to have a balance of as many personalities as you can on the show.   They have to show conflicts and cat fights... as that is what the viewers want to see.   I really do think it would be boring with a bunch of intellectuals...  but as far as I can think back,  I don't remember any real intellectuals.  They are looking for people of different walks of life, with drastically different beliefs because they know that is what stirs up conflicts and gets arguments started.

well, it wouldnt be as interesting without some variety. jocks are good for physical competitions, and not all of them have been stupid. and the blonde bimbos REALLY get on my nerves at times, but theyre sometimes funny to watch. and they also arent completely stupid either. if you remember daniele donato, she was good enough to make it to the final two, but thats another story.

however, they should definitely put MORE smart people on it. it would make it more of a challenging competition with smarter people.

so overall i think that more smart people should be added to future shows, but they should also keep some jocks and blondes for variety.

I wish for once they would get someone with half a brain & they  could run away with it.  But they put up "eye candy" that think they are so smart & calculating.  I think that is why Dr. Will did so well & we all loved him for it.  It is a joke to watch the diary room stuff---blah blah blah I am so smart & have everyone in my pocket...etc...

The dumb people are the ones who go crazy or make really bad moves that completely change the game. That's what reality T.V. is all about.... dumb blondes. :)
