sabathia has changed the brewers immensely.  Not only is sabathia winning his games, but he has given the brewers an overall confidence to the whole team.  I think he is the only reason for their recent success.

It was defintely one of the best, considering that the Yankees did not give much up. I think it was a very good trade, and considering that there haven't been many moves of note this year, it is one of the best. The impact of C.C. Sabathia has to make that the best trade, even though the Brewers gave up much more talent (see Matt LaPorta). The Yankees can now put Nady in LF or RF, bat him 6th or 7th and DH Johnny Damon, Bobby Abreu or Hideki Matsui (if Matsui does return one of those four guys will not play unless Damon plays center field).

i dont think it was the best rade of the year. i do think the yankees got one h**l of a steal. they didt give up much at all to get two goo mlb players.

this trade will benefit the yankees a lot and now they just need a good starting pitcher.

great trade for yanks because they gave up almost nothing for great players...a steal!

Definitely. A great hitter and a left handed reliever. It sucks for us in Boston though.

C.C. was just as good as this trade though. Both trades are trades that will probably boost the team into the playoffs. I don't think if the Yankees and Brewers didn't make those trades that they'd make the playoffs.
