UC Davis "Undergraduate Computer Purchase Policy"

Question

Hello. I'm wondering... if you're eligible to receive the aid to buy a computer/laptop from Financial Aid... does that mean they'll be giving you free money to buy it? or will it be a loan and you'll have to pay it back in the future? Reply back asap.

It depends on the type of financial aid you get.  If you get grants, then you don't have to pay it back.  If you only qualify for loans (or not enough grant money to cover all your expenses) then yes, you'll have to pay that loan back.  Kinda stinks paying for that laptop for 10 years or more after you graduate... long after it's deemed obsolete.
