UC Irvine, Merced, Santa Barbara, LA or Cal State?

I want to major in Psychology/social psychology. Which is a better school to apply to? Is Cal State something to consider?

why are you asking in the DINING OUT section?  will you compare schools by the restaurants around them?

UC beats Cal State hands down for a better school, the question is is your GPA good enough to get in?  Cal State can be a Plan B, if you don't get into UC.

First, I'd like to agree with Isabel....definently try to get into a UC.

Second, I attended UC Irvine and I majored in political science, which is in the school of social sciences, just like social psychology. The School of SS is the largest school on campus and has a long line of renowned professors who really know their stuff! I highly recommedn going to UCI...its a great campus (if uv ever been there, ull know how beautiful it is; especially Aldrich Park), great student life (clubs and Greek Life), great everything!

Check out Long Beach has a social work dept., UC Irvine is good too.
