UC San Diego counts Summer school GPA?

Question

Last year I took Geometry during the summer and I got a B in first semester and a C in the 2nd. Do Colleges like UC San Diego look at summer school GPAs. I finally got 4.0 in both semesters during the year and I dont want something I got before I was motivated to get into a good college to ruin my chances. Before the year started I was used to getting low 3.0-3.5 scores. The geometry class GPA is lowering my year GPA to 3.75.

well your gpa ia kind of low. most people that apply have like 4.0-4.33 etc and they still tend not to get in.  

and i dont think they count summer school gpa, my sister had a C in it too (summer school) but she had straight A's
