I would like to study languages at Cambridge or UCL. I am English and have been living and studying in Spain since I was ten. I am now 17 and have decided to go to University in the UK. I still have British ID. WIll I be considered and International student because I have studied all my lessons in Spanish for the last 7 years? Also, do I still apply through UCAS??

Any other advice on how to get in is appreciated!

Thanks in advance

  1. Either way you are a European Union student - the only real difference comes if you live outside the EU.

As far as I'm aware, everyone applies through UCAS regardless of where they come from.

How to get in? Well...great qualifications, for those two you've mentioned. Plus being prepared to THINK. The sort of interview you get at Oxbridge is designed to see how you respond to questions which you don't know the answer to. Do you say "I don't know", or do you start thinking out loud?
