UCSD engineering school graduate?

What was your entry-level job salary? And what is the median?

I'm in high school and want to be an electronic engineer but I am wondering if I should go to Cal Poly SLO (San Luis Obispo) or UCSD for engineering. Cal Poly SLO's graduates (engineering) had about $53,000 median salary out of school. I just want the best career prospect.

I think a UCSD graduate engineer  starts with $55,000 or higher
