In the 80th minute of the game, Xavi took a short corner which fell to Keita. The ball then found Iniesta, who played Xavi on once again.
However Ozil stepped in to nip the ball away. Alonso then played on Arbeloa with the ball and just as the full-back was about to find Ronaldo, Pique intercepted with a brilliant sliding tackle.
However, with his brilliant tackle, Pique managed to injure his hand and was taken off for a few seconds before he declared himself fit to come on.
While Pique was off the field, Eric Abidal started to warm up and was greeted by a roar from the home fans.
In the 82nd minute of the game, Pedro whipped in a cross only for a flying Marcelo to block him.
On the counter Madrid was looking to break free but Pedro went in late on Diarra. However, the ref let the play go on before coming back to book the player for his late high-footed challenge on Lass.
In the 83rd minute, after a promising attack from Madrid died out, Diarra caught Mascherano. Both players had kicked the ball at the same time but the Argentine felt it necessary to float in the air before clutching his ankle.
The referee didn’t buy any of those antics but awarded the Barcelona player a free-kick.

In the last minute of added time, Pedro went down clutching his knees after colliding with Marcelo.
