UEFA Champions League Player ratings – http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 vs Udinese – Arsenal
Arsenal took on Udinese at home, in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifier game. Despite going into the game without a number of key players, Arsenal seemed determined to try and come out on top at the end of the game. Following an early
goal from Walcott, the Gunners went on to cruise to a one goal to nil win.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wojciech-Szczesny-c36998: The new Arsenal first choice went on to make a number of brilliant saves during the game. The keeper was tested on a number of occasions and even had to save some one on ones.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bacary-Sagna-c7148: Seems to not have a single bad game, when he steps on to the pitch for Arsenal. Was back to his usually best and put on another solid performance during the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thomas-Vermaelen-c35002: Was easily the best centre back on display for the Gunners. However, despite that fact, he was constantly schooled by the Udinese attack and would need to get his game up, in order to help Arsenal be more stable at the back.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Laurent-Koscielny-c21742: The defender went on to have one of his poorer games in an Arsenal jersey. He was bullied around and made a number of poor passes. Could prove to be the reason for Arsenal wanting to land a new defender this transfer window.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kieran-Gibbs-c20945: The full back had a decent game and seemed to fill in the void that Clichy left at the club. However, his constant injury problems are starting to become a real concern for the Gunners.
Tomas Rosicky: Having performed brilliantly over the weekend, the midfielder was expected to repeat the same against Udinese. Unfortunately, that was not the case as the Czech international produced a very average performance.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065: The young midfielder went on to inject pace and creativity to the Gunners midfield. His passing was spot on and he displayed his dribbling abilities during the game. He set up Walcott’s goal with a brilliantly timed cross.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 of playing as the holding midfielder brilliantly. Made crucial tackles and broke up play as well as helping out in creating some.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873: The winger displayed just why his pace was being hailed as one of the most dangerous things in modern day football. His sharpness and want to get forward helped his side a lot and even made the Gunners more dangerous on the counter.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755: Put in a lot of hard work and got forward often. However, once again, it was the final ball that was missing.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Chamakh-c24294: The striker was ineffective, lazy and seemed to want to be somewhere else when he was on the pitch.
