Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s hat-trick coupled with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jermaine-Jones-c18363’ strike sealed an easy win for the Bundesliga outfit over Steve McClaren’s men.
In the return leg of UEFA Europa League round-of-16, Schalke 04 cruised to a comfortable 4-1 victory over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 Enschede at Veltins-Arena on Thursday, March 15.
The impressive win ensured the Bundesliga outfit progress through to the next phase of the competition with a 4-2 aggregate win.
After winning the first-leg 1-0 at De Grolsch Veste on March 8, the Tukkers were optimistic of progressing to the quarter-finals. They commenced proceedings brightly away from home and scored a crucial away goal in the 14th minute.
