UEFA Europa League results, Balotelli scores winner for Manchester City
Mario Balotelli made his debut for ‘The Blues’ with winning a match against Timisoara in the first match of the Europa League. Taking place in Romania and returning home with flying colours, Manchester City achieved the win with a score of one to nil.
The striker from Inter Milan only entered the running for the UEFA on the deadline day as his registration was done on the last day.
Balotelli played a commendable match netting the ball in the seventy-second minute and gave ‘The Citizens’ the lead.
‘The Reds’ achieved a victory as well winning the match with a score of one to nil. They sent Trabzonspor, the Turkish Cup winners packing, when Ryan Babel scored the only goal of the match.
Ryan Babel is actually linked to a move to Wolfsburg. He was benched and substituted in the first half when he got injured during the match.
People say that Liverpool should have had more of a grander victory, but could not achieve that as Joe Cole has been given a week off.

The last goal came from striker Spas Delev in extra injury time and this pretty much destroyed all hopes for the New Saints.
