  1. Not really. Herrings past fights have not lived up to the hype. Nor has Lesnars. I will go with Lesnar on this...

  2. I'm pumped to see Brock Lesnar get whupped.  He needs to go back to "entertainment" sports.  He won't cut it here.

  3. i think they are puttin too much on brock lesnar. his wrestling skills are really good but heath herring has had almost 40 professional fights he's no push over and if u dont recall he almost knocked out the current heavyweight champ. he will submit brock lesnar just like mir did. i hate to say it but they should have given him an easier opponent so they could build him the way elite xc is tryin to do with kimbo slice

  4. Yeah I hope Herring kicks his *** so it can prove what I have been saying all along Brock Lesnar is a nobody in this sport.

  5. I'm looking forward to this, the UFC is lacking in its heavyweight division so this should be interesting.  To the poster that suggested the UFC try to "pad" Lesnar's stats by giving him easier opponents like EliteXC is doing with Kimbo, that is the difference between the two organizations.  EliteXC is selling the sport, UFC is where you find out if you can cut it with the big boys or not.  Nothing is handed to you.

  6. That will be a good fight.  I'm picking Lesnar.  I don't think Herring will be able to handle his power and explosiveness, and he doesn't have the submission skills that saved Mir.  From what I've seen of Herring, in most of his wins he relied on good submission defense (which won't matter because Brock won't try to submit him) and superior size (which he won't have in this fight).

  7. In Freshman Rebel Football at Tascosa, we all had a junior or senior sponsor for each work group (OL, DL, OB, DB, QB and Spec Teams)  Heath was our sponsor and had a mohawk at the time.  I remember some of the kids saying man I bet he could kick anybody's ***.  I agreed back then, and I still agree now.  Brock is a big guy, and he can probably bench more, but man as soon as those knees start he gonna feel like tenderized beef.

  8. I don't know much about Heath Herring, but it sounds like this is yet another chance Dana is failing to market off of Lesnar's core fans, like EliteXC's Kimbo.

Maybe it will end the same way it did with Mir?  Like I said I don't know much about Herring.  If Herring subs Lesnar also, then it would probably best serve him to join another MMA organization who won't put him in contests against fomer champions and top contenders.

I am sure EliteXC would take him the day after he loss and mold him the correct way.

  9. everybody counting Lesnar out.  From what I saw in his fight against Mir he was beating the **** out of him until he got caught in that knee bar.  So lets see what he can really do against Herring
