1. How the freak did GSP get knocked out by Sera last year? I don't get it, I was live last night watching him DOMINATE Finch. It wasn't even close, ever, at all. Is he the best pound for pound right now in the UFC?

  1. Silva, fedor, GSP and BJ are the top 4. I give it to GSP b/c of the people he beat. Hughe(2),, BJ, Kos, Fitch, Shrek, Jason Miller and Serra. Silva still needs to beat some top guys, he's division is quite weak. Fedor proved he is worthy of a top spot with his domination of Tim S. BJ will beat GSP in the rematch and finally live up to his potential.

  2. gsp took sera lightly and serra made him pay for it. now gsp is thinking properly. no, he is not number 1 p4p in the ufc or mma for that matter. its a toss up between silva and fedor but gsp is up there with those two somewhere no doubt.

  3. curvy= fat. I hope you raised your self esteem because you didn't lower mine. I am all of 115 pounds so I am not fat.

    have a nice day.

  4. Yes he is, he's better than Anderson Silva in my opinion.

  5. Serra got lucky.

The fact that anything can happen in this sport is one of things that make it so exciting.

GSP may soon be reconized as the best pound for pound. Although Anderson holds that now, I would say Pierre is better on the ground than Anderson.

By the way it was Fitch not Finch

  6. He's #2 as far as P4P fighter in the UFC.  But yes, he totally DOMINATES the Welterweight division in the UFC and in the whole MMA world.

  7. Matt Serra threw a right hook and landed a right hook. that is not luck. Drew Ficketts win over Koschek was a fluke. threw a head kick and landed a knee. This is MMA. As Matt Serra said "you don't have to be the better striker to out strike some one in MMA". that is the nature of the sport. Its just unpredictable. Like you said this was a year ago. He got his rematch and beat the c**p out of Serra. Let sleeping dogs lie

  8. nothing is a fluke in this sport, serra is the first black belt in the us under renzo gracie.  gsp says that that loss was the best thing that happened to him, after that he like snapped and stepped up his training even more.  he was always an amazing fighter but he's insane now.

  9. i would say he's in the top 4.

as to question 1, anyone can be knocked out. lucky punch, good kick, freak of nature, it happens

  10. He is the current champion and is considered the best pound for pound in the UFC.

He will only truely solidify this if and when he beats BJ Penn.  If he hanldes BJ the way he does others, there will be absolutely no doubt.
