  1. I can understand not being a fan of Dana White but reflect upon the history of what he has done with the UFC and you at least have to have some respect for him.

    Think I'll go with Silva.

  2. How do you know Dana? I don't know the man so I can't really judge him personally, but what I do know of him is he took a sport ( that most people did not even consider a sport at the time) that was all but dead in the united states and made it a house hold name, the man has generated millions and millions of dollars, and not just for the UFC, look at all the fighters he has helped, hardly any one knew who tito ortiz or anderson silva was, and look at company's like Tapout they are now a multi million dollar corporation and soon to billion dollar, and there are many more clothing company out there as well, like tito's, all the popular fighter rigth now have their own brands out, and look at all the schools out there right now, and all full at anywhere from 140.00 bucks a month and up, and new ones opening up every month it seem like, and look at how well they do in terms of pay per views, there numbers are stagering, so much money is gererated that now even the major networks like showtime and CBS have their own federations, and they all put hundreds of people to work on these shows. When you look at the big picture it really is billions and billions of dollars and thousands of jobs, all because Dana was first able to talk investors in putting there money up on a product that was not even legal in most states, I think Dana loved a sport, had a dream and had the balls and the drive to do something about it, what he has done is amazing, h**l most people don't even try to obtain their dreams, they are to afraid of failure, Dana is a top dog in the business world!! And with any business as you expand you step on toes and can't make everyone happy! so i am sure there are many people with their own experiances with him. I just hope this does not go to his head, like it did with Vince McMahon and how he ruined the wrestling profession.

  3. dana is just doing his job. i dont care for him but he is the man behind the ufc's rise to the top.

but i wouldnt hang out with him. i dont care for the way he treats his fighters.

tito is washed up. i heard he got beat down out side the ring in londen. by a guy named lighting a low level mma fighter

silva is the man right now unstoppable

  4. hmmm

  5. Give credit to Dana White for making the UFC what it is today.  Of course, it's ashame that politicians (mainly John McCain) forced the UFC to adopt additional rules.  The federal govt should play virtually no role in professional sports- period.  That is WAY past their authority.

Anderson Silva is the greatest pound for pound fighter in the sport today.  He has virtually no weakness, with his stand up and ground game being virtually flawless.  He is extremely quick and extremely accurate.  Anyone's only hope of beating him is to basically get lucky or for him to get old.

Tito Ortiz was a great fighter of the past.  Unfortunately, like Matt Hughes, he appears to be slightly past his prime.  That doesn't take away anything from what he once was, he still was a great fighter in the day.  Unless he can dig deep like Randy Couture and get himself back into contention at an older age, it looks like he will have to settle for losing quite a bit of fights or move into a different role, such as coach, commentator or whatever.

  6. I don't mind Dana, and I love the UFC.  The UFC is way more interesting than boxing.  Its pro wresting and more specifically pro wrestlers that make me sick.

For the most part UFC fighters are very respectful of each other and have their egos in check.  Ortiz and Silva may be exceptions to that rule but even they show a bit of class now and then.

  7. Nah Dana is the man, he tells it how it is & doesnt take S**t lol I reckon its funny when he be's a smartarse & Tito has nothin on Silva

  8.    I do think Dana is somewhat annoying. I think for a person to hold a position that he has, he should be a little more proffesional, clean up the language. I do agree with his business sense, his language is what really annoys me.

       A. Silva is unstoppable, he is in my opinion, the best p4p fighter out there. He is going to make a run through another division. B.J. Penn has a chance to hold 2 belts, but it is unfair he gets an immediate title shot without moving up the division.

Tito Ortiz got greedy and he is trying to be bigger than what he is. He let the his popularity get to his head and is focused on things other than fighting. At the same time, I can't fault him for trying to cash in on his status, after all, he did hold a belt for awhile.

  9. i like dana white a lot. he always seems to give fighters their fair shake, tells people the way it is, and he has a very practical business sense.

however, he does have a very dirty mouth, which yes, is annoying. and he talks about some people disrespectfully at times.

anderson silva is the bomb. i think he can kick anybody's butt he goes up against, period.

tito ortiz is a very awesome fighter, but seems to crumple against tougher competition. also, he has one of the hottest girlfriends ever so that's hard to beat right there
