UFC on Fuel TV 1 will feature Aaron Simpson vs. Ronny Markes in February 2012 – UFC News

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced that UFC on Fuel TV 1 will feature a bout between American mixed martial art (MMA) fighters Aaron Simpson and Brazilian MMA fighter Ronny Markes. Their bout will take place at UFC on Fuel TV 1 which is
scheduled to take place on February 15, 2012. Their bout was officially confirmed by the UFC officials on December 15, 2011.

Their bout would be for the middleweight division which can be an interesting one for the fans in attendance. The reason would be because Markes has recently made his successful UFC debut and looks in great form. Markes defeated Karlos Vemola at UFC Live event
in August 2011. On the other hand, Simpson has been in the UFC circuit for a long time.

He made his successful UFC debut in April 2009 against Tim McKenzie at UFC Fight Night event. Ever since the UFC announced the bout, an air of excitement has spread amongst MMA and UFC fans who are eager to witness the bout inside the UFC octagon fighting cage.
Both the fighters have also shown their enthusiasm upon hearing the news.

Both the fighters would look forward for the event because their reputation would be on the line. For Simpson, his UFC credibility would be at stakes for he has been in the UFC since 2009. He took part in eight fights for the UFC and lost only two. On the other
hand, Markes will be entering inside the UFC ring only for the second time in his career. He would certainly focus on winning the bout and would want to establish himself as a worthy UFC fighter.

Markes, the 23-year-old Brazilian MMA fighter, will be heading towards UFC on Fuel TV 1 with a winning streak of five fights. He may have contested in one UFC fight in his career, but his winning streak would give him the motivation to face a much experienced
UFC fighter. According to reports, Markes has moved into the middleweight division after competing for a long time in the light heavyweight class category. His bout at UFC on Fuel TV 1 would be a fight where he would prove his worth as a middleweight fighter.
