i enjoy both sports but let me examine this carefully

BOXING: diego corrales vs Jose Castillo...10 rounds of two great fighters throwing bombs and the whole crowd on their feet...one of the best boxing matches of all time

UFC: rampage jackson vs liddel.......1 round.....about 10 punches thrown......lame knockout

affliction banned: fedor vs tim slyvia...........36 seconds....about 5 punches throw.....submission

  2. Oh yea, don't forget De La Hoya VS Mayweather...that was a REALLY good one.  And the Jose Canseco fight.  OMG!!!  That was totally off the hook!!! <scoff>.

    I havent bought a boxing PPV since Tyson vs Holyfield 2.

    I did kind of get interested in "The Contender", but other than that I got tired of it.

    In contrast I've bought every UFC PPV for about the past year.

  6. UFC is  not a sport. Mixed Martial Arts is a sport. Get it to your head.

  7. It depends on if you want to put on a show or fight somebody.

  8. This is no contest. The UFC is 100 times more exciting than boxing. One good fight doesn't mean boxing is exciting. And one not so good fight doesn't mean that the UFC is boring. Almost every single fight in the UFC ends by either knockout or submission. Both of which are exciting. Boxing fights almost always go to a decision. UFC is without a doubt much more exciting. Watch Urijah Faber or Forrest Griffin fight and you will see what I'm talking about.

  10. I respect the athleticism and the technical skill of boxing, but I have to go with UFC/Affliction.

  11. Boxing, but not the modern heavies except for the Russians although my problem with them is that they fight like robots.  The likes of Muhamad Ali or Joe Louis would kill the majority of modern Russian boxers, skilled and fit as they are because, what can I say; robots ain't got no rhythm.
