I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for spotting UFOs. I was just wondering if there is a certain hotspot or time of the day for UFO activity, or is it moreless random?

  1. Go outside about 1 am.  There will be plenty of things in the sky that you can't identify.  But don't bring an astronomer along; that won't be any fun.  We'd say stuff like 'no, that's a star, no, that's a planet, no, that's a plane, really, trust me, look, there it goes, no, that was a meteor, no that was a bird, no, that was a satellite ...'  We're such mood killers.

  2. Get to Texas...quick

  3. go searching in a desert in the arizona, nevada, texas, colorado area. go at NIGHT

  4. Go to a place where they have poor school systems and the education rate is extremely low.

UFO sightings tend to happen there more.

  5. Looking for UFO's is similar to looking for love.

As soon as you give up and stop looking, It (they) will find you. In other words, A watched pot never boils.

  6. Usually UFO activity occurs at night when most people are asleep and usually in deserted places and especially near Roswell, New Mexico.

  9. You are presupposing UFOs (as in extra-terrestrial aircraft) exist.  This has not been established, so you could be wasting an awful lot of time.

  10. The link below to MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) should assist you. They no have a searchable data base of sighting locations and dates to try to find hotspots.

A very isolated rural area would allow you to eliminate the probability of commercial aircraft.  Also, don't be too close to a military base (unless you want pictures of cool fighters).
