UGH I cannot do a good messy bun! :( help?

Question

Do you have to have pretty long hair to do a good one? I have fine, blonde hair and it's about 3 inches past my shoulders. I always see girls with thick hair work it the best, but I've seen some blondies rock them as well. Any tips or step by step instructions? or video links?

go to tie ur hair up and wrap the hair tie around once and then on the second time dont let all of ur hair go through ur hairtie

after that tightne it and mess it up a liittle it does work better with thick hair though

Just put it in a ponytail and pull it to the end, but don't let go. Them tossle it up some.
