I accidently got a little water on my psp and the buttons started to act crazy. If i press the start button, it will do another function. So i let the battery run down and i charged it, then my buttons started to work fine. 6 days later, i took some acohol and wipe the screen down and wiped down my buttons with tissue, and now my buttons is acting crazy again and now two of my buttons don't work. sometimes it will do a function without be pressing any buttons. Is there any thing i can do to get my psp buttons to work, and to stop the crazy things that it is doing?

  1. u not supoosed to wast the screen becase the acohol get in the psp and does .did like 3 time and it did the same thnig and contacted song and gave me a new one

  2. first off , if ur gonna clean ur game wit alcohol, ring out da towel fisrt, doesnt need 2 b dripping wet(as u c now).                                                                                                                  but all i can tell u is, drop one more drop of water into ur homerows key(thats wut i callem) and see if u udda buttons werk.  if not, u mite have 2 go 2 a pawn shop and buty one , take it apart and exchanges the ribbons.ive done this 2 times.      i cannot stand rain, both times were rain, but if u need more details, msg me

  3. Hmm the only thing I can suggest is taking the faceplate off to arrange the buttons(they might be off a bit) OR lastly you can buy another one.
