UGH! has this ever happened to you?

Question

So a little while ago we bought the stage 2 pacifiers (7-18 months) for the future. We lost his 0-3 months tonight. We searched for HOURS! So I tried letting him fall asleep with the stage 2. Well it was not working and he was screaming at the top of his lungs. So I finally gave up and went to the store to buy him some more 0-3. As soon as I got home and got him to sleep I found the one we lost. How is it you always find things after you stop looking for them???

haha..im sorry this made me laugh just because i know EXACTLY what you mean..it has happened to me so many times that i swear i had a small fortune invested in just pacifiers..lol

Yes that is what usually happens, that's why when I can't find something I never give up looking for it because I know I'll eventually find it.  I will tear up my house until I find what I am looking for.  I have gotten good at locating things.  My kids are also losing there shoes or sippy cups in the house.  I have gotten good at the lost and find game.  

My husband is really bad.  He will misplace something and blame me.  Gives me a hard time and then he has to come and gravel because it's somewhere where he put it.  But he doesn't find it until he is at his wits end and about to blow a fuse.  :)

Yeah, I went through that. There is only one type of pacifier that my 4 month old will use and they only sell it at K-Mart. So, I went and bought 8 of them and keep them all over the house and in his diaper bag. Never again will I be with out one.

At least you found it.  We have a bedroom pacifier, and a living room pacifier for our daughter.  Some how the one we keep in the living room is gone, just like poof in to thin air.  What mother's do for their children lol.

Thats just the way things are, and it sucks. Haha. But it shows you're a good Mom and you went out to buy him the pacifiers he likes! Alteast you'll have extra for next time!

yes i hate that...that is why i keep an extra bink like i would an extra car key for emergencies only in a spot where i can always think to check....although you need to remember to write a note to put one back when you find or buy a new one. lol or you will be cussing and going through the same thing all over again.
