  1. welcome to the world of morning sickness lol. it should go away around the start of 2nd trimester

  2. I was the same way, fortunately at about 14 weeks it went away for good.. other than the occasional throwing up on my tooth brush.. lol... it shouldnt last nine months, but some pregnancies do.. ;( Hope you feel better. God Bless!

  3. I started losing my morning sickness/nauseousness around 12 weeks. I am now 35 weeks and it's starting to come back again and this time it's even worse since I feel like a cow and am sore all over! When I had the bad headaches and morning sickness I would stay away from bright lights and rest most of the day. You can take tylenol for your headaches but I always toughed it out and dealt with it. It should hopefully start going away within the next few weeks but all pregnancies are different. Good luck && Congrats..You will get through it, I promise :o)

  4. You sound just like I get.  It is a good sign that you are not throwing up; it should mean that it should go away without gettting worse.  You will hit your peak around 8 weeks and by 12-13 weeks it will start to get better.  Just snack a lot and don't get hungry...that makes it worse.  It will pass, and if you are like me will feel great for the rest of the pregnancy after 12 weeks or so.

  5. Talk to your doctor, but mine had me take 1/2 a unisom sleeping pill (not the gel tabs), and a B6 vitamin at night and that helped immensely!  I would wake up not queasy, and it would last until in the afternoon, when I would eat and nap until it went away. I am currently 14 weeks and last night was my first night without the pills, and other then not sleeping as well, I felt great this morning.  More then likely it will pass.  I felt the same way as you at 7 and 8 weeks. But this really helped me, I didn't know about it with my first pregnancy(11yrs ago) and it is a godsend.

  6. No it usually lets up around 12 weeks, just keep doing whatyor are doing and try giner ale it is supposed to be a natural antinausa med,

  7. Keep a lemon with you at all times and smell it.... There is something about the smell that made me feel better.... Also drink lots water with lemon.

  8. I know this sounds gross.. but try making your self throw up.. when i start feeling sick I just go into the washroom and make myself throw up, I feel alot better after that.. then you can try and get some crackers down before you start to feel sick again, better than feeling sick 24/7.. goodluck.. and dont worry it usually goes away after the 13th week

  9. Not likely but it could.

Hang in there you started pretty early with the morning sickness give it to about 10 weeks and you start to feel better.

  10. I went through the exact same thing. Nauses all the time, but no throwing up, and wishing I would! It lasted about 10 weeks for me! It was awful, and then one day I woke up and felt much better. There really isn't anything you can do. You have to find what helps you, which is going to be differet from everyone else. I had to eat as soon as my eyes opened in the morning. I kept granola and crackers by the bed so that as soon as I woke up I could get something in my tummy, that seemed to help a little, so you may try that.

Hopefully this won't go on for the entire 9 months, but it might. I know that is a hurtful truth, but for some women, it happens.

Hang in there and Good luck!

  11. I'm 14 weeks and I'm still dealing with it!  They say for most people it stops around 12-13 weeks.  If the nausea gets unbearable, ask your doctor for an anti-nausea medication.  And I love Cheez-its too!!  They are great for when I'm feeling nauseous.

  12. No its normal for maybe the first 3 or 4 months!! It lasts different amounts of time for different people! Try eating crackers or something dry in the morning instead of cheese or soda! It worked for me!

  13. you know the usual everyone is different.......try seltzer water, ginger ale and crackers. try to eat a few crackers before popping out of bed. I had the same sick feeling without throwing up and it did go away around 9 to 10 weeks. I have only just started the headache phase at  17 wks but i think you can take tylenol, call your doc, the nurse would know what you can take now.

  14. Can't say if it will last all 9 months, as everyone is different. What I CAN tell you is that I was in the same boat until about 15 weeks (sorry!) and then it got a whole lot better. I was touring Italy weeks 10-11-12 and wanted to die. I had terrible headaches, and like you, Cheez-Its and other crackers was about all I could stomach.

I found that extra strength Tylenol worked for me, lots of water, and fruit when I could do it. It also helped to take my prenatal vitamins at night (suggestion from my Dr). Also try going for a walk/jog if you can, it helped my with the bloating/gas that was making things even worse.

I am 24 weeks along now, and the queasiness is about 99% gone and the headaches only come around 1-2x/week. There is light at the end of the tunnel!

  15. Try Carnation instant breakfast to make sure you are still getting your nutrition.

When I was feeling like I was going to throw up but couldn't- it helped to lay with a fan lightly blowing on my head or a nice cool cloth on my forhead.

  16. It’s “supposed” to happen around the start of the second trimester.   I can tell you that’s not always the case. I really didn’t have any nausea issues untill 11 weeks. I’m 15 weeks now, and thankfully it’s no longer a daily thing, but I have days where I’m fine and others where I feel almost like I’m hungover – which is totally lame when you can’t even have a cocktail every now and then! :-)

I am helped by  ginger ale, but not just any ginger ale. I had to send the Mr. to Whole Foods for an all natural kind because I don’t like high fructose corn syrup (the sweetener in most commercial sodas).  I also eat every two to three hours on my bad days, and only eat a little at a time.

Expereiment to find what works for you.If you only feel like eating a certain food, then only eat that food right now.

BTW, if you’re on prenatal vitamins, try takign them right before bed. They make me ill if I take them eariler in the day.

  17. It will almost definitely go away between week 12 and 14.  I had the same issue and thought the whole pregnancy was going to be miserable, but it eases up once you get past the first trimester bombardment of hormones!

  18. some peoples pain does last this long, its hard to tell.. imean yea its 9 months of h**l for some people but it will be a gorgeous baby at the end :o) feeel better!!!!!

  19. I felt that way too.  It came around week 9 and started to go away around week 13 or 14.  What I did to combat it was to have something small I could suck on in my mouth, like a jolly rancher or lemon head.  Also, to have something in my stomach at all times.  Otherwise I really felt sick.  Good luck!!!!  Hope you feel better soon. :)  Oh, and the headaches shouldn't last the entire time. If they do last passed your first tri, that's something to talk to your doctor about.
