So why isn't everyone screaming about windfall profits taxes on other companies that make billions in earnings? Oil company's profit margin are well below MANY other companies profit margins that make billions. Why not them? It's all a bunch of political pandering, that's why. Why not simply pull a Hugo Chavez and simply make them state companies? s***w them right? It's all just Bush and his cronies anyway, right?

Liberals do not take business classes and learn how investments work and how corporations operate.

They look at gross profit and actually think that those numbers mean something.

How many of the people who want windfall profits taxes on the oil companies understand the concept of ROI (Return On Investment)?
