UH OH! iPod Touch APPLICATIONS confusion! Please help! I didn't download 2.0 but I bought some apps anyway....

Question

Ok, so I noticed the new APP thingy in the iTunes store and I was like FINALLY! h**l YES! So I started going crazy downloading all these games and cool apps but then I turned on my iPod Touch and none of them were there.

So I went back to iTunes and clicked on where it says Devices > (then your iPod's name.) And this big screen popped up saying you have to download iPod software 2.0 to get applications! DX

I don't have enough credits but if I buy 2.0 later (like in a few days or maybe a week, when I can get another card) will I still get my applications or is my money and apps lost forever!

First pay for the firmware, upgrade to 2.0 then check out if the apps are there, if they aren't there, bring it to Apple and tell them to give you refunds or just ask for the apps. If you don't remember what apps, maybe you remember how MANY they are.

No , you will keep your apps in the library.

You will still be able to put the apps on your iPod when you do the 2.0 upgrade.
