UK Child Passport question?

Hiya!

Well, we went abroad with our daughter when she was 10mths old so (obviously) got her a child passport. These last 5 years. Well, we went away again when she was 13 mths. But now we want to go away in October and she'll be 2 years and 3mths old and of course she has changed alot in appearance since she was 10mths old! Do we need to get her picture redone? Is it free to do so? It seems unfair to pay for a 5 year passport if you have to pay for another sooner!

Or should we just take her with it anyways? I was thinking we should take her birth certificate with us just in case any questions are asked?

What do you think?

  1. No, you don't need to change the photo. My eldest has a photo in his from when he was only four months old and he travelled on his passport at 3, without problems.
