  1. You should be able to obtain the tourist card (visa) in Mexico before you leave. (Since the Mexicans are used to those from the US, who cannot obtain a tourist card there, it is normal for them to buy that in Mexico - about $15 or $20, I believe.)

Most airlines insist that you have the visa before you board, and about only the Canadians issue the tourist cards onboard (sorry Tropicales - you got that wrong !)

  2. According to what you say, you should not

  3. No you shouldn't have a problem. If you have flying into Cuba, you will be provided with a tourist card (carta turista) by the airline while en route to Cuba or through your travel agent when you receive your plane ticket.

You won't have any problem at all. As long as you have your passport, your ticket is booked and you're travel arrangements are set, you will be given the tourist card/visa.

*edit: yes, you're right Beardo. thanks for the correction...for some reason I thought Mexico did the same thing as Canada...and that's what I was thinking...Yes, from the UK (Europe), the visa must be obtained way ahead of time.

    Sorry to confuse anyone!
