How many miles to the gallon do u on ave get from ur car and what do u drive??

  1. 1 Imperial gallon (U.K.) = 4.546 L.

    1 U.S. gallon = 3.785 L.

    I currently have a 1987 Ford Bronco II, 2.9L V6, manual transmission, and generally average 20 to 21 m.p.g. (Imperial gallon), with most driving being on country roads with a lot of start/stop and gear changing.

Well my opel powered unit gets near 45mpg on the highway but of course only 35 in the city.  My MB Sprinter does 32mpg at best and only 28mpg loaded with 2000lbs of cargo.  Both have automatic transmissions so anyone in the family can operate them without having to get used to different clutches.

    There are 4.54 L/imp gal  3.78L/US gal
