UK Moth Identification.?

This yellow moth was in my house this morning:

  1. Answer above is correct, it is definitely a Ourapteryx Sambucaria or Swallow-Tailed Moth.  

    They're nocturnal (as opposed to several moths who are diurnal, or day-flying) so you were lucky to see this one perched on your window-frame!

    It's quite a common moth in the UK (except in the far north of Scotland) - in fact another Yahoo Answers member has also asked for an id on one of these today!
