UK Patent?

A friend and I have ideas for a business.

We have been told that these ideas are very marketable and that we should get them patented.

We have, as yet, virtually NO entrepreneurial skills. lol

How do we set about getting the necessary patents?

best thing to do, is talk to a big licsensed company, and get some advice, and dont tell any 1 about your idea, a few good websites/company for getting things patent/copyrighted are -
