  1. As I only do about 6000 miles a year, it doesn't really bother me. In fact I'm thinking about buying a really UN-economical car, cos I'll get it for buttons!

    V8 Jag, here I come!!

  2. i don't enjoy driving as much than before.

  3. a year ago it cost 45 quid to fill up (focus estate 51 reg ) and now its just over 60 quid. i need to fill up about 3 times a week, so its really hitting my pocket as my pay increase was 7 quid a week more, you work it out-

    iam now skint

  4. I ride a bike. It still costs less than thirty quid to get me the same distance as it costs over fifty to take a 1800cc engined car.

So it's more expensive than it used to be, but it's not that much more for me.

  5. 12 months ago £50 to fill up Seat leon cupra 1.8 20vt.

now £73 did it last night.

  7. Twice as much to state side  cost £70 to fill a small car  but thats not so much the problen if just cars but all transport is effected small bus companies giving up ,lorry firms exepting to crunch  but those who weather the first bite will be charging more so will increase prices far and wide you can see it starting in the supermarkets as prices rise, some folk are saying thats good as in time food will become more local products not coming from all around the country and the world but man overcomes in the long run ,Sailing barges?

bring back the Shire Horses??Oh that willl get folk moaning Motorways full of clopping horses, too much noise  give um rubber slippers some places already want their horses to wear nappies.. Home heating and lighting is on the verge of being a problem going up fast but on the bright side  a few good money saving products canbe used or improved upon

I am thinking of induction hobs, Ive purchased a suitable kettle for the hob to save on using an electric one then SOLAR  lights a high power ones to light up a room mustbe just around the corner Iam sat here with four garden ones in my windowsill boxes adding light with my puter screen light so no house lightbulbs on,

perhaps ar the moment windup lighting is brightest  so maybe ideal a solar power motor to wind up these lights instead of manual    My wind up table lamp is like a toy as soon as it start its output gets lower and lower if only the bright lasted a while longer I could live with it 100%

Your question does read that you are narrow minded  as to its effects as the car is that biggest part of your life and you dont need one easy to live a life without ...
