Watching GMTV David Cameron was filmed by the Daily Mirror for going through red lights, going the wrong way down one way streets and other traffic offensives should he now be fined or is an oppology good enough.

He is a MP and should not be above the law.

What do you say?

  1. Fine him!!!! MPs should lead by example.

  2. yeah bust that mother fo

  3. he should be fined for each separate offence. but our uk politicians are guilty of far worse corruptions/frauds/embezzlements that a handful of traffic offences. we'll be lucky if the smarmy parasite even gets picked on for it in parliamentary question time.

  4. Being the Daily Mirror I imagine it's a set-up.  However, I don't see why any cyclist should get away with breaking the law, MP or not. He can afford the fine, after all!

  5. Assuming it is his 1st offence, no he should get a caution.

No one is above the law, I think he should be law abiding, but this hardly constitutes a political crisis.

All the Daily Mirror has done is prove that he is like the average bike rider in town.

If we fined every bus driver that cruised through a red light or blocked a junction we wouldn't have a transport system in London.

  6. If that is all that the guy ever does wrong then the sooner he gets elected the better. I would be more worried about the fact that he is a bit of a t**t and is trying to run the country.

The filming is just cheap, tacky low level journalism.

  7. Of course he should,

will he? of course he won't...
