(UK) - Who did you last get to service your gas boiler? How much did it cost? (UK)?

Mine's due a service and could do with some guidance as to which CORGI engineer I should give my hard earned cash to.

rds plumbing  Ã‚£58 plus vat east london and essex very reliable and know there stuff.look in yellow pages for number.

Whatever you do dont ask Ali  or Hassin or Jalal  they will charge YOU an arm or a leg or even your head.

Last Winter, we had trouble with an overflow. I was charged £30 for the Service but he didn't repair the overflow properly.

I will not advertise the name of the CORGI registered company but I found it in the local yellow pages and (an address was given not a mobile phone number) the charge was £50.

Bah don't bother, all they do is get a toothbrush, brush the burners, get a pin poke out the piot light hole, f***y about with a tichy hoover, stick a gas anyaliser on it jus to make you feel safe and charge you 90 quid
