UK bank workers can u help please?

I've got a lot a coins I've saved up over a few years, maybe about £200 or more. Would I be able to deposit them all in one go into my bank account? Is there a limit? Thanks

  1. Yes you can in banks, some building societies have limits, but they must be bagged up correctly. Go to your bank & ask for some coin bags & they have the maximum amount that you can put in printed on them. For example up to £1 for 1p or 2p coins, £5 for 5p or 10p etc.

    No bags should have a mix of coin in them as they are usually weighed.

    You just take your full & part full bags in to the bank & put them in your account!
