Question:

(UK) can you take a driving test if you are blind in one eye?

My nan has a glass eye so has no chance of vision in that eye. since my grandad died two weeks ago she can't get around as he was the driver. she lives a few miles away (we live in stevenage, she lives in watton-at-stone).

we wnated to know if she could legally take a driving test, even if its only in automatic.

  2. YES, you can but if the other one has a fault,sorry no ways.

  3. It depends how much this affects her vision. If she has one eye and this one eye has very bad vision, then no way will she be able to drive.
