Question:

UK child abuse question?

I think the UK has gone a little overboard on the protection of children. Does any one agree?

Don't get me wrong, I know it's important to keep kids safe, but have you read the news reports? One parent had to get CRB checked to ride in a TAXI with her own son because of his diability, and she was the only one who knew how to work his medicine.

And another was accused of being a pervert for taking pictures of his own kids going down a bouncy slide!

Aren't adults going to have kids who are gonna grow up being anxious and paranoid. I think they're on the border of ruining the kids.

  1. That is over the top, but i bet with many things like that they have found the parents to be abusing their children.

You gave us 2 cases where the UK was in the wrong.

Maybe out of 10, thats 2 that were innerpropriate accusations, but the other 8 probably wernt.

  2. Gone a little overboard? No, my friend, they have become completely hysterical. What is going on now has nothing to do with child protection, it`s more like moral vomiting. It is not only unhealthy for the children, but the whole society. The horrible fact is that politically correct politicians and child organizations keeps pushing for MORE paranoid regulations and laws. I wonder where this will end.
